Lectio Divina
Divine reading, an ancient practice of prayerful Scripture meditation, designed to foster a deep, personal encounter with God.
The process involves four key steps:
lectio (reading), where you slowly and attentively read a passage of Scripture;
meditatio (meditation), in which you reflect on the text and allow it to speak to your heart;
oratio (prayer), a time for responding to God’s Word with your own prayers; and
contemplatio (contemplation), where you simply rest in God’s presence, allowing the Scripture to transform your life.
